Elton John says he’s ravaged by a genocide of his “beloved friend” George Michael — saying, “I am in low shock.”
Elton — who famously collaborated with George for a 1992 hit, “Don’t Let a Sun Go Down on Me” — posted a reverence to his longtime crony on Instagram.
“I am in low shock. we have mislaid a dear crony – a kindest, many inexhaustible essence and a shining artist. My heart goes out to his family and all of his fans. @GeorgeMichael #RIP.”
Michael died Sunday during his home in England. He was 53.
