Authorities in Missouri told BuzzFeed News Thursday that they found “no rapist violations” after questioning Greg Chism and his terminated YouTube channel Toy Freaks.
The channel — that had amassed over 8 million subscribers before YouTube, underneath pressure, close it down in Nov — featured his immature daughters sanctimonious to be babies and enchanting in babyish behavior. In some videos, Chism clearly shocked one of his daughters, who was in a bathtub wearing a swimsuit, with a frog and lobster.
“The St. Charles County Cyber Crimes Task Force looked into your inquiries per Gregory Chism and a Toy Freaks YouTube channel,” a orator for a St. Charles County, Missouri, Police Department told BuzzFeed News Thursday afternoon.
“In a mild bid with a Granite City, Illinois, Police Department, and after consulting with prosecutors in Illinois, Missouri, and a US Attorney’s Office, it has been dynamic there were no rapist violations,” a orator said. Adding, “St. Charles County Police Department is not questioning Mr. Chism or a Toy Freaks YouTube channel.”
Last month, BuzzFeed News reported that authorities in Granite City, Illinois, said there was an “ongoing investigation” with courtesy to Chism and a footage — though no group would publicly contend it had taken a lead.
