1-800-Flowers may be in prohibited H2O after one of a vases imploded in a customer’s hands … so claims a patron in a new lawsuit.
Martha Nippert claims she suffered a “severe and debilitating break of a tendon in her center finger” when a flower-filled vase delivered to her home cracked in her hands.
She says when a flowers were delivered she private a arrangement from a wrapping and took it to her kitchen sink, adding uninformed H2O — adult to a median indicate on a vase. She says she put her hands on a vase to lift it to a dining room, and that’s when it imploded.
Nippert says a damage was devastating, in no tiny partial since she’s a veteran illustrator and engineer and mislaid work. She also says a surgeon told her she’ll never recover full operation of motion.
